CD Sculpture “Crystal” | Jim Hake

The artist Jim Hake from Toronto, Canada, created a sculptural portrait from upcycled CDs, which was shown at the Lonsdale Gallery in 2013. The ‘60s music band “Crystal” was his inspiration and he transformed the hairstyles mixed with the typical disco ball look into his artwork. With the decreasing amount of the use of CDs, Jim Hake shows how to reuse the reflecting material to create art, which seems to be timeless.
